‘Vergankelijkheid / Impermanence’

$425.00

Life feels impossibly brief. There's a sense of impermanence, a natural anticipation of unavoidable loss. This work speaks to the transience of life on earth. Do you take it all in? Smell, breathe, cry, laugh and love like there is no tomorrow? Is humankind capable of living and appreciating these gifts to their fullest?

This piece is made with organic materials. In the beauty of its own fragility, much like our own, it will fade and return back to the earth when she is inevitably greeted by her mortality.

Plant dyed cotton, recycled yarn, nettle yarn, jutte & wood

Dyed with: Marigold, Sappanwood, Madder Root & Cutch
